Next Pack Meeting: Tuesday, April 21st
APRIL 2009 - JURASSIC PACK - Explore the land before time! Imagine living in a time when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. What have paleontologists learned about the great beasts that roamed the Earth millions of years ago? Did any dinosaurs live where you do now? Find out what they ate, where they lived, and how they moved. What could we learn of these creatures that lived so long ago? We will be making a model of a dinosaur fossils. For a go-see-it, you could go on a "dinosaur" scavenger hike and look for things that might have been found during the Jurassic era. This would also be a great time to work on the Geology belt loop and pin.

Update on Scouting for Food - Thanks to all the scouts who solicited food from their friends and neighbors. Together the pack was able to collect almost 700 pounds of canned goods for the Scouting for Food Program. These canned goods will be sorted by Crofton Woods Elementary students and be part of the food pantry at the Communited United Methodist Church. CUMC happens to be our pack sponsor. They distribute food to those in need. Thanks again for making this a success!
